Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills Pop-up – Waldorf Café by La Colombe

Now during the morning hours in front of the Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills, a customized 1967 Citroen Hy-Van, will be in front of the hotel Friday through Monday mornings serving up beverages, pastries and gourmet snacks.

This new Waldorf Café by La Colombe pop-up café concept offers guests morning coffee and a selection of lite bites outside to enjoy before or after a morning walk around Beverly Hills, at one on the social distancing tables, or to take back up to your room to enjoy.

The luxury hotel partnered with coffee roaster and retailer, La Colombe, for a new and unique dining experience on property. Beginning Nov. 20, Waldorf Café by La Colombe is conveniently located at the front of the hotel from 6 to 10 a.m.

Guests staying overnight can enjoy gourmet coffee, draft cold brew, espressos, teas, lattes, fresh squeezed juices, smoothies outside Friday morning through Monday. Also available are vanilla chia bowls, smoked salmon sesame bagels, breakfast wraps, muffins, and croissants.

“We are pleased to offer our guests the choice of an inventive café concept while still maintaining our unparalleled standards of luxury and service. We hope Waldorf Café by La Colombe encourages both guests and locals to take advantage of the year-long mild temperatures by starting their morning with a coffee and a pastry in the heart of Beverly Hills,” said Vanessa Williams, general manager at Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills.

Other al-fresco dining at the hotel includes The Rooftop by JG. from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., daily for lunch and dinner. On weekends this hotspot opens one hour early at 10 a.m. for Saturday and Sunday brunch, lunch and dinner.

Signature fine-dining restaurant Jean-Georges Beverly Hills is currently open Thursday through Saturday evenings offering an exquisite eight-course tasting menu on the outdoor terrace. Click here to read my review featured in the Beverly Press.
