This year St. Patrick’s Day falls on a Monday. A lot of great bars and restaurants are celebrating the weekend before. Here are some spots to find green beer, corned beef and a lively crowd celebrating the “Luck of the Irish.”

St. Patrick’s Day at 33 Tap

The neighborhood sports bar with the same ownership as David Myers Group, located on the corner of Hollywood & Vine is launching a new happy hour on America’s favorite drinking holiday March 17 with $3 pints. Tam O’Shanter

Get Lucky all weekend at the three-day Irish Party at Tam O’Shanter, a member of the Lawry’s family of restaurants and one of the oldest restaurants in Los Angeles. On Saturday, March 15 and Sunday, March 16 and on St. Patrick’s Day morning, the Tam O’Shanter will host a special Irish-themed “Kegs & Eggs” brunch from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The brunch will feature bangers & mash, signature corned beef hash, themed salads, and many other delicious and unique creations. Taste of Solvang

Today through Sunday, March 16 enjoy the festivities in Solvang Village with a Sweets & Swing event featuring a dozen or more different confections accompanied by local wines and beverages. Attendees also will be treated to live jazz & vocals performed by The Tipsy Gypsies. The Grand Tasting is on March 15 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. featuring 40 stops around the village featuring bites of Danish and American cuisine. In the evening is a Wine & Beer Tasting walk with a souvenir Taste of Solvang glass.
