HOTEL DEL CORONADO

The Hotel del Coronado’s Easter Champagne Brunch buffet on April 20 is available in the oceanfront Ballroom and in the magnificent Crown Room from 9am to 3pm.

The elegant buffet will feature classic holiday fare. A special children’s buffet will be available for the little ones. Both the Crown Room and the Ballroom will have live musical entertainment. Cost is $100 for adults in the Crown Room, $90 in the Ballroom. Children ages 6-10 are $35 (not including tax and gratuity). Children 5 and under eat free. EGG HUNTS
(For Hotel, Brunch and Sheerwater Breakfast Guests Only)
Easter morning will be kicked off with a good old-fashioned egg hunt! There will be three different hunts on the oceanfront Windsor Lawn from 10am to 10:40am, to include children of all ages. Another round of egg hunts will take place from 12pm to 12:40pm. There is no cost for the egg hunts and baskets are provided. Please register at 619-522-8815.

CRAFT ‘EGG’STRAVAGANZA
(For Guests and Non-Guests)
The south end of the Windsor Lawn will also be the site for a fun zone with crafts for all ages from 9:30am to 1:30pm. Reservations are not necessary for crafts.

From the Carving Station, guests may enjoy Rosemary and Garlic-Rubbed Leg of Lamb, Slow-Roasted Prime Rib and Honey Mustard-Glazed Bone-in Ham. The Children’s Buffet pleases the younger set with Mini Corn Dogs, Chicken Tenders, Macaroni and Cheese, Mini Cupcakes and Candy Eggs. For a Sweet Ending choose from Praline-Chocolate Mousse, Crème Fraîche Cheesecake, S’mores Tartlettes and Caramel Apple Pie, while the Candy Station tempts with Assorted Fudges, Passion Fruit Turkish Delights and more. $88 per adult; $30 per child (ages 4-12), exclusive of tax and gratuity.

Chef Matthew Sramek offers Easter Brunch Starter selections including a choice of Fresh Yogurt Parfait, Catalan Shrimp, Soup or Smoked Salmon Plate. For the second course, Main Plates options are Steak and Eggs, Dungeness Crab Benedict, Egg White Frittata and Old-Fashioned Waffle. The meal ends with a scrumptious Easter Trio holiday dessert. $58 per person for three-course brunch, exclusive of tax and gratuity.

For a casual, relaxing a la carte Easter treat, guests at Club M can enjoy Starters like Steel Cut Irish Oats, Tortilla Soup or House-Made Guacamole and Salsa. Such Morning Classics as Eggs Benny with Canadian bacon, hollandaise, toasted muffin and hash browns, Bacon & Egg Burrito and French Toast with apple chutney and toasted almonds. There are Salads including Grilled Salmon & Spinach, Skirt Steak & Charred Sweet Corn and Grilled Chicken or Shrimp Caesar.
