Redesigned Rooms at The Landmark Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong
Local Hong Kong designer Joyce Wang is redesigning all 113 guestrooms and suites. The rooms have an elegant “comfortable residential feel, together with a fresh and contemporary look,” said Torsten van Dullemen, General Manager of the Landmark Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong.
The hotel offers some of the best in-room entertainment in the city, will now introduce personalized TV streaming in all rooms and suites on 48-inch or 55-inch TV screens, together with BOSE speakers and the latest entertainment systems.

Downstairs is one of the best restaurants and lively bars – MO Bar offering a contemporary design and delicious cuisine by Culinary Director Richard Ekkebus.
The 2015 Forbes Travel Guide gave The Landmark a Triple Five Star distinctions across all three categories for hotel, spa and restaurant. This designation is one of the only 11 hotels worldwide who are the 15-star recipient.

Fall into Fashion
Mandarin Oriental, New York- Mandarin Oriental and designers Kate and Laura Mulleavy, founders of Rodarte, announce their collaboration on a limited-edition series of scarves designed and inspired by the property’s iconic views of the city and Central Park. The scarf that debuted at New York Fashion Week was inspired by the tree branches in Central Park and is made of 100 percent modal retailing for $350 at the hotel’s Spa Boutique. “We wanted to create a piece that blended our modern aesthetic with the feeling of excitement that we get each time we return to our favorite hotel in New York,” says Rodarte’s Laura Mulleavy. The Mandarin Oriental in Beirut is scheduled to open in 2018, with 280 rooms and 25 apartments. The project is under development by the Olayan Group, a Saudi Arabian multi-national group, with whom Mandarin Oriental recently, jointly acquired The Hotel Ritz, Madrid. The architect is the renowned Singapore-based designer Kerry Hill who shall feature local sandstone of the heart of Lebanon; yet reflect the Group’s oriental heritage and contemporary style.
