I was invited to the Primetime TV Lounge to learn what the 2016 nominees and winners may wear for this year’s 68th Emmy Awards show and later the Governors Ball.

Located on the second floor of the W Hotel were rooms of beauty products, dazzling dresses, jewelry and gifts for television stars. Walking up the stairs to the mezzanine level, I recognized model/actress Ali Landry and the very tall Quinton Aaron (The Blind Side).
The Ultimate Primetime TV Lounge gift bag will also be presented to Hollywood stylists, and past and present Emmy nominees including: Tina Fey, Melissa McCarthy, Kirsten Dunst, Felicity Huffman, Amy Schumer, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Taraji P. Henson, Claire Danes, and Robin Wright.
Here is a peek into the 2016 Awards Season Ultimate Gift Lounge:
Alister Mekhi: A collection of trendy fashion accessories, elegant jewelry and evening clutches set with Swarovski crystals and rhinestones. This clutch is perfect for holiday parties and red carpet events!

I really enjoyed talking with Madison & Mulholland founder Jane Bell-Meyer. She created an elegant across body travel bag. The proceeds from each sale goes to OCRFA, the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund Alliance. This stylish bag comes in vegan leather and genuine leather. It sits on your hip to hold your passport and cell phone – Apple 6+ or Samsung. There is extra room for a power bank to charge your cell phone. I learned there is also a button-hole to thread your earphones or your charging cord. What I like about this bag is that you can wear it “hands-free” and there are three deep pockets for keys, sunglasses and your wallet or cell phone.
One of the gifts talent (and I got one in my swag bag) received was a colorful cookbook – Italian Moms – Spreading Their Art to Every Table. I learned that for over 50 years ago, Elisa Costantini has lived a full life with her husband and children in America. When Elisa’s husband passed away from cancer, she was left with medical expenses and financial insecurity. Her children worried about her well-being and encouraged her to share her love of cooking by publishing a cookbook of her beloved family recipes.
Elisa found a purpose again, got off the sofa and got busy in the kitchen. Her family turned to Kickstarter and in 30 days had $27,000 to produce – Italian Moms – Spreading Their Art to Every Table. So far she has sold more than 20,000 copies. This new chapter in her life has motivated Elisa to give proceeds from her books to local charities, schools and the ALS Association

The Image Spa included an envelope that had a $500 Gift certificate to be used on an array of their Med Spa Services including: Laser Aesthetics, Beauty & Body Care Treatments and Plastic Surgery.

Mirai Clinical Skin Care included Clinical Face Serum and Face Wash regimen in the bag. As an authority on Japanese skincare, Mirai Clinical introduces beauty secrets based on the holistic practice that Less is More:bthe less product and fuss, the healthier and more beautiful your skin.

LP Associates, hosted a room of designer dresses, from Ivan Bitton Style House, The Sue Wong Collection, and Pentard Couture, the upscale high fashion couture line the caters to the individual who enjoys unique and one of a kind pieces.
Big Sexy Hair: Also inside the bag was a sample of the Powder Play, volumizing and texturizing powder.

I had the opportunity to meet author Bess Richards, She was on-site personally signing her book – The Devil I Know for talent and journalists. Originally from Ohio is married to an active duty member of the United States Navy. I’m looking forward to reading her book. I’m sure those who are flying East after the Emmy award show will also find it a great read while sitting in Business and First Class.

Jimmy Crystal from New York had a display of bracelets they were eye-candy to my eyes.
This year’s gift lounge was a winner!
