On Election Day Red O Santa Monica is offering Happy Hour specials all night long. Choose one of three street tacos for $3 each. The kitchen is making chicken tacos with a tinga sauce; carnitas with cilantro lime yogurt and friend plantains; and braised short rib tacos with heirloom potato chips. On Nov. 8 come into HACHÉ LA wearing your “I Voted!” sticker and receive a free order of Mick’s triple cooked fries. Enjoy a Silver Lake new age burger while watching Election Day coverage. The karma burger is decorated with American cheese, lettuce, tomato, red onion and signature karma sauce. Another winner is the throwback Roaring Forties burger, topped with Portobello, blue cheese, caramelized onions and horseradish. The Mediterranean burger is layered with spicy hummus, roasted red peppers and feta. This Election Day 2016 both Hyperion Public restaurants host an American Election Day party with “Super Tuesday” Happy Hour specials. There are a variety of food items under $6. Get a caucus together and order an array of dishes that include the grilled cheese; crispy shrimp tacos; chicken fries; and Asian steak lettuce cups. Watch the count of the votes, and the states turn blue or red, while indulging in blue state wings (spicy blueberry wings) or red state wings (medium or hot Buffalo wings).
