Pop-Up Small Foot Yeti Village in Hollywood

Have you noticed an enormous white pop-up exhibit on the corner of Hollywood and Vine in Hollywood?  It’s a brilliant marketing campaign by Warner Bros. Animation for their new upcoming feature film SMALL FOOT.

The premise is a Yeti is convinced that the elusive creatures known as “humans” really do exist. The movie stars Zendaya, Channing Tatum, Gina Rodriguez, Danny DeVito and LeBron James.

A creative team has recreated a two level Yeti Village for the public to explore and learn about SMALL FOOT coming to theaters on September 28, 2018. Best of all, it’s FREE.

The best way to enter is to Reserve your entrance pass. Sign the waiver online and walk up to the entrance without doing it at the site. Present your printed pass, go through security and receive a blue wrist band.

You will walk through double doors and into ethereal colorful clouds as you begin your 40 minute immersive experience. The first sign you see is “Small Foot Exists Sucka” offering a fun, whimsical display of proof: toilet paper, a jacket and a boot.

There are multiple photo opportunities on this floor. Visitors can stand in the huge Yeti footprints. Notice the size of Gwangi’s and Dorgle’s compared to the small ones of Percy. The staff will take a photo. Then go over to a kiosk, select it, and email it to your account.

Another fun INSTAGRAM moment is the snow swing with a snow capped mountain behind and trees flecked with snow. There are furs to drape over your shoulder to add to the fun.

Over in another nearby Snow Room exhibit, “snow” is falling from the ceiling. Grab some rubber fish is a bucket and play with other props for a fun BOOMERANG photo opportunity.

Walking through a giant tusk archway is an opportunity to descend below the clouds. Grab a burlap sack and slide down to the a 20′ spiral enclosed slide to the first level. For those who choose not to go down the enclosed slide, there is a stairway.

This is where some of the recreated film environments are display. There is an arts & crafts table, and a game table where visitors can play Yeti in my Spaghetti. You can throw a snowball to known Down-A-Yeti, and roll a Yeti “Skee Ball” into circular holes.

iHeart RADIO has a karaoke “Yak Shak” with a stage and DJ for guests to become singing stars.

Kids love the “snowball pit” for snowball fights with light foam balls, and other film themed activities, including a museum to purchase themed items.

The Yeti Village is an attraction that will transport all ages through two very different worlds of the Yeti & Smallfoot, while you uncover the myth-understanding between them in a creative and interactive setting.
