Good news for vegans, vegetarians and meat-eaters alike. The Impossible Burger phenomenon that is on over 17,000 restaurant menus, can now be prepared at home.
Starting today, Friday, September 20, Gelson’s Markets are selling Impossible™ Burger. This weekend you can now cook kosher, halal, plant-based, gluten-free and bioengineered burgers. It is sold in a 12-oz package and costs $8.99.
All 27 Gelson’s Market Southern California locations are selling it, including Century City, Pacific Palisades, Sherman Oaks, Westlake Village and La Canada Flintridge.
This meat alternative looks like ground beef, and delivers all the flavors, aroma and nutrients that meat-lovers enjoy.
Three years ago Impossible Foods introduced plant-based meat to top chefs in America’s most important restaurants. They consistently told the CEO and Founder Dr. Patrick O. Brown, that the Impossible Burger “blew them away” and if you haven’t tried one yet, it will blow you away too.
Free samples will be available September 20 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Westfield Century City’s Cabana, located on Level 3 of the shopping center.
