Enjoy a five-day dining staycation at Raymond 1886 in Pasadena while Executive Chef Michael Hung of Faith & Flower takes over the kitchen as  a guest chef beginning on Tuesday, July 28 through Saturday, Aug. 1.

For those looking to venture out to celebrate the summer, the historic Craftsman designed restaurant offers three outdoor dining patios to sip handcrafted cocktails and wine pairing to enjoy with the creative chef’s five-course tasting menu along with The Raymond 1886 Head Barman Jesus Gomez’s Wine & Cocktail Pairing for an extra $20.

First Course Gargalliou of Young summer squash, Heirloom tomatoes, Black miso and tomato dashi. Pairing: Victorine de Chasternay Brut Rose

Second Course: House-made Truffled Cornbread and honey butter. Pairing: African Flower cocktail made with Bourbon, Crème de Cacao, CioCiaro Amaro & Orange Bitters.

Third Course Roasted Catalan Prawn with saffron poached fingerling potatoes and chorizo. Pairing: Domaine Gueneau Sancerre La Guiberte.

Fourth Course: Grilled Petit NY Steak with slowcooked wax beans, caramelized onion and mushroom jam. Pairing: Château Boutisse.

Dessert: Burnt sugar chocolate mousse with pistachio shortbread, spearmint crema, and honeycomb toffee. Pairing: Athol Brose – Scotch, Honey Syrup, Layered Cream with Freshly Grated Nutmeg.

The Raymond 1886 is open for Dinner every Tuesday through Sunday from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm, and for Brunch every Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 am to 2:30 pm. 1886 is open every Tuesday through Sunday from 4:00 pm to 12:00 Midnight. 1886 Happy Hour is every Tuesday through Sunday from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
