Geffen Stayhouse new “Someone Else’s House”

The latest interactive production from the Geffen Stayhouse, part of Geffen Playhouse, is debuting “Someone Else’s House” on April 23 – June 5, 2021.

The Obie Award-winning multimedia artist Jared Mezzocchi (Vietgone, Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time) is going to share a harrowing story with Geffen Playhouse virtual ticket holders. It’s a frightening, true-life haunting tale that took place inside a 200-year-old New England house.

Once you purchase a ticket at Geffen Playhouse, you will receive a HAUNTING KIT in the mail. Do not open before showtime. Once the House Manager gives you instructions to open the box, inside are items to help you set the scene in your own home for a performance you may never forget. Flip the light switch, light your candles, and prepare yourself for this first-hand story of terror.

Also inside the box are important artifacts with which you’ll interact during the show. Shipping charges for US audiences are included in the ticket price.

This show is now suitable for children 12 years and under.

HOW IT WORKS – On the day of your ticket, ‘Someone Else’s House‘ will take place via the Zoom video conferencing platform. A house manager will welcome you, gather all of the other guests, make sure everyones virtual entrance is working, and stick around in case there are any technical problems.

Be prepared to witness one of the most terrifying real life stories in the comfort of your own home.
