UMO – Tastes of the Yucatan

Located in the Heaven side of the resort near the Eden Pool, UMO maintains the cultural traditions and cooking methods of the Mexican Yucatan with specialty dishes using local and seasonal ingredients. Smoke and fire play an important part in preparing the various dishes offered on the menu.

UMO has a Mayan PIB oven in the kitchen. This underground earth oven is where proteins are smoked, vegetables are baked or steamed. Be sure to order the following:

Handmade artisanal tortillas are shells for short rib tacos, slow cooked barbacoa beef taco dazzling with Mexican chili oil and an avocado puree. Also the tender marinated pork shank, ta vibrant tomato salad and beet salad. The guacamole here is enhanced with cubes of short rib chicharrones.

WAI- A Taste of Thailand

In a jungle setting of Heaven, WAI is a Thai inspired restaurant where chefs make handmade noodles and wok-fired dishes inside the glass window kitchen. The menu offers an array of savory and sweet dishes that offer a touch of pleasing heat. Thai spices, mint and curry dishes provide unique flavors.

Be sure to order the chicken and beef satay with a delightful peanut dipping sauce. There are 5 different types of curry on the menu, plus fan favorites that include Pad Thai, Tom Kha coconut soup and Vegan Pad See Ew. Be sure to order one or all of the creative desserts, such as Lychee Tapioca made with coconut cream, WAI Pannacotta made with pineapple, guava and pear gelee.

FARO Gastro Market

Overlooking the sparkling blue water of the Caribbean Sea, FARO Gastro Market on the Heaven side of the resort offers breakfast and lunch options for adults.

In the morning the different food stations offer a colorful array of grab and take back to your table items. Server pout coffee, tea, mimosas and juice at the table, while guests go up to the cook-to-order stations. The Sip counter pours any beverage your desire, while World Kitchen flips custom omelets in the morning and around the globe dishes ranging from kebabs to baos during lunch.

AWAKEN YOUR SENSES

Upstairs in Heaven, above the lobby is a gastronomic immersive dinner experience. This intimate experience for just 12 guests per seating incorporates high-resolution video mapping on the dining table and surrounding walls.

Foodies are transported into an international culinary journey during a multi-course meal paired with creative cocktails, mocktails and beverages. Travel on a simulated Hard Rock jet to London for gourmet fish and chips, Italy for pasta, under the sea, and to the United States for barbecue. This special meal is an extra cost of $150 US dollars for adults every Tuesday through Sunday at 5 pm and 7 pm

DINING AT EDEN POOL

Many of the sparkling pools at the resort have a swim up bar to keep guests refreshed and happy. At Eden Pool, guests can reserve a cabana for up to 6 people.
