For the past three years, I have been invited to the William and Elizabeth Shatner – Wells Fargo check presentation breakfast. It’s an unveiling of how much money these philanthropists raise each year at their latest Hollywood Charity Horse Show.

At this year’s ceremony, William Shatner accompanied his wife to the ceremony, dressed in a leather bomber jacket, blue jeans and sneakers. This philanthropist, actor, spokesman, author, producer, singer, father, husband and comedian entertained an audience of fifty guests and dignitaries with his kidney stone story. “I was offered $25,000 for my kidney stone, years ago by GoldenPalace.com. With matched money raised by my Boston Legal cast and crew, plus others, I wound up donating $100,000 to Habitat for Humanity.” This man has a big heart.
