A bigger than life photo of co-founder Khloe Kardashian frames one side of the doorway of her newest pop-up GOOD AMERICAN. Khloe is dressed in a white mini dress with silver stars strategically placed on her chest, while wearing silver thigh-high shiny boots.
Opening at the Rick Curuso Americana at Brand on Dec.1, there were twently five eager fans waiting in line to be the first to get a glimpse of the reality star’s store.
Khloe and her co-founder Emma Grede have been leaders in the body positivity movement. Having a hard time finding jeans to fit their body type, they wanted to create a clothing line for curvy girls and ladies in sizes up to 24. At GOOD AMERICAN sizes 16 to 24 are equivalent to the industry standard plus sizes 16W to 24W.
The high waisted jeans are designed to be sexy and accentuate stronger shapes on women. Clothing starts at $55 for one Goodies Icon Tee or Flag Tee. Khloe likes to wear curve-enhancing bodysuits starting at $129. High waisted denim skirts with a contour waistband start at $135, and high waisted shorts start at $110. Comfortable twisted seam sweatpants start at $119.
Accessories starting at $15 for a iPhone case and $20 for socks. Baseball caps are $35.
For every pair of jeans sold, GOOD AMERICAN will donate to Step Up, an organization that propels girls from under-resourced communities to fulfill their potential.
The jeans are made downtown in Los Angeles and can also be found exclusively at the Americana at Brand store until January 2018. The clothing line is also sold online at goodamerican.com, and through select Nordstrom, Bloomingdale’s and Selfridges & Co locations.
