Last weekend my I was invited to a preview of “Dark Arts at Hogwarts Castle” inside the Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Studios Hollywood. This new illumination projection show is darker than their traditional Christmas show, and wowing amusement park guests and Harry Potter fans.
A VIP Premium experience included a premium catered feast of food including beef, salmon, lobster Mac n’ cheese bites and array of vegetables.
After hours access to Hogsmeade village allowed guests to explore shops, and experience the land’s signature rides, “Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey” and “Flight of the Hippogriff.”
Butterbeer and Gilly Water were handed out, as well as a buffet of desserts including sticky toffee pudding.
As the sun went down, the darker side of the Wizarding World was a multi-sensory display of light, special effects, and music based on the film series. It was composed by John Williams and recorded by the London Symphony Orchestra.
This special event at Universal Studios Hollywood is the best display yet. Come see it during Spring Break starting April 13 through April 28, and Memorial Weekend on May 25 through May 27.
Tickets are available at Universal Studios Hollywood.
