Last weekend the girls and I drove to Jeni’s Splendid Ice Cream in Los Feliz to pick up two pints of their new Terrace Brunch Collection.
Donning my mask and gloves, I kept my daughters in the car as I walked to the front of the store and pushed the doorbell layered in Saran Wrap. Following Mayor Garcetti’s mandate and advice from health officials in practicing social distancing, Jeni’ Splendid closed their scoop shops, but are open for pick up and deliveries from 2 to 10 p.m.
On the door are taped instructions of how to receive your ice-cream –
- Place your order on the following delivery apps: Jeni’s works with Jeni’s.com/localdelivery, Postmates, Ubereats, Caviar, and Doordash.
- When picking up your pints, ring the doorbell.
- Have your order ready on your phone to show a Jeni’s team member.
- Please step 6 feet away from the door and a Jeni’s team member will place your order on the orange stool.
